Only on the Bluetooth and WiFi models. Bluetooth units sync stored history when your phone is nearby; WiFi units report over the internet from anywhere and can send out-of-range alerts. Simple display units show readings on the screen only.
Check the operating range in the specifications above — some models are built for cold storage and some are not. Tell us the temperature you need to hold and we'll confirm the right model before you order.
Common targets: poultry 74°C, minced meat 71°C, whole cuts of beef, pork and lamb 63°C with a short rest, and fish 63°C. Insert the probe into the thickest part, away from bone and fat, and take the reading once it stabilises.
Units are factory-calibrated and hold accuracy well in normal use. For a quick check, place two units side by side for 30 minutes — readings should agree closely. If you work to a standard requiring certified calibration, tell us before ordering and we'll advise which models suit.
